Ah, the Michigan left turn. It's about the dumbest thing I've ever seen. I guess it fits right in with the other "U" in Michigan, lol.

I'm glad you made back safely. That's a pretty part of the state, but if you're really a fan of the outdoors, the UP is where it's at. It's Canada without a passport, lol.

I wonder how long it would take to cross. That almost sounds worth it.

Happy belated Birthday Nick, Glenn's wife, Byron and his wife.

I had an excellent weekend. Saturday I put the springs in my 96 and bought brake lines for it. I helped a friend from work cut wood. And there seems to be plenty of deer at our new property. I get some on the deer camera every night. I had a real nice 8 pt buck walk right up to the camera and sniff it Friday night. For some reason I was on a movie kick this weekend too. I saw 3 movies. Only 1 was any good though.

Sunday was just church, chores and relaxing. I did go out to work on the truck in the evening but come to find out the one brake line I bought was too long.

I've been staying away from most things truck unless needed - I needed a break from it. But, hopefully this weekend I'll start to dive back in. I want to start on re-doing the frame on the show truck (not happy with it). I'm researching too if I can find stainless brake lines (the hard lines proper) for the area around the rear axle. I've got to tear all that apart as it is to take the rear axle out for a re-gear, so I want to clean all that stuff up. Not to mention I have all the braided stainless hoses to put on to go with the 6" lift it runs.

Then, I get to do it all over again once I collect the parts for the SD spring swap on the tOwBS...lol.

I finally caught a little break this weekend. We went back on 8 hour days a work Friday and I didn't have any "customer's", I guess you would say, trucks in the shop. I did get the heater core changed in my Subaru work car, and got my grass cut. The poor grass hadn't been cut in a month or more. I literally haven't had time to do it! I have been covered up with work in my shop here at home. I have two Fords and an '03 Dodge Cummins to work on over the next two weeks though. This break was short lived, but was nice. At least it's only 8hours a day at work now though. I like the overtime, but I been wore out! LOL! Hopefully I can get some time to do some stuff to my truck this winter, and also work on my other project.

If that's the dumbest thing you have ever seen Nate, then you have lead a very sheltered life. LOL I guess you have to live there to see the beauty in it. It keeps traffic moving, more states should smarten up!

Talk about the impulse buy of the century lol. Took my moms friend to the airport and drove around to a couple dealerships. One had this sitting on the lot and, long story short, ended up trading my Harley F-250 for it!

It needs two things: remove the stacks and remove the "euro" style taillights.

On a side note, it has a multi-position switch in it with 8 settings. Is there any way to figure out what the settings are?

Looks pretty clean, JP. Impulse or not, I'd call it a good purchase.

Mike - I need a mower like that to cut my grass. I'd be done in half the time!

Dude nice buy!!! I am a little hooked on these SDs after riding around in Travis's truck. I like the upgrades from the OBS, not gonna lie. I was looking at a 2001 a week ago, but didn't do it. More photos!!

Sure, they are great. Its so much easier to make a right and U the way you want to go. The train does just fine, if the 5er can make it, the Geo just follows in its tracks. That's the nice thing about pulling a car behind the 5er, it doesn't swing out at all. It stays inbetween where the 5er's wheel track. If anybody thinks U's are bizarre, try driving in England. That will make your brain hurt, LOL.

Nice buy JP, did you trade straight up?

I was doing some reading about it, and got to thinking , and I definatly see what they are doing. I think they are a great idea. But I know if they brought them to Illinois tomorow, there would be some upset people. But when it comes down to the stats, they have somthing there. Like I said though, too many people getting upset "why can't I just turn left where I want??" Lol
