I remember when you could buy a 65-66 Mustang for $1,000. Sure do wish I would have picked one of those up back then.

I'd have it painted that same red color.

Looks good, Kevin. Yes, painting with the engine in is a pain, according to my friend who does all my paint work. I just don't have the place to paint myself or I would at least try it.

I have a place to do it. It's not an actual paint booth, but a room at my work where we paint mining equipment. I've just never done it before. I'm gonna use this '92 F150 I just traded for as practice If it turns out good, then I'm gonna paint the bed on my dually.

I am paying to have the bed for my F150 shot, but that's after I do my own paint-in liner and undercoating work here at the house. That's all roll-on work, which I can handle here. I can rattle can, and I might be able to use this airless gun here, but doing more than parts and pieces with the way things are laid out here isn't possible.

I appreciate that. I want to eventually do a good paint job on the tOwBS, but that's down the road a couple years, I believe. Gotta get the 1/2 ton done first...if that'll ever happen.

I have been Painting on car since I was about 12 that is what happens when you have older brother. I don't have a real good place to paint myself but it works OK. I would like to have a paint booth but just doing it as a hobby can't afford that. This car was paint a bout 4 years ago but it was a little rough around the edges so we decided to touch it up.

Traveling for six months keeps me busy and it 'seems' like all winter I work on the 5er and pickup to get ready to leave again. The 65 mustang fastback is done pretty much mechanically but needs the body finished.

Bring lots of pictures of all your cars and trucks to RRE. I'll have to see what I can talk you out of!

The really, really sad part is the mice are getting them! I'll get some pictures in the spring when I'm in SD.

That is sad, Glenn. Have you ever used dryer sheets to slow them down? We had them in one of our campers at one point and ever since then we have laid out 6 or 8 dryer sheets in it when we close it up for the winter and we've not seen any sign of them since. Maybe it's just coincidence, but we read somewhere that the mice can't stand the smell of all the toxic chemicals in the dryer sheets, so they stay away. It's cheap anyway, so we figured why not give it a shot? Lol, good thing we use them on our clothes too, huh?

We have tried them Nate and a lot of other so called fixes for that problem and so far no luck. I think its because we leave for extended times and they wear out.
