i am going to leave it closed since he started a new thread, "my new truck V-2"
Stewart is a great guy from what I've seen. He just doesn't know that you pretty much let us handle things and it usually works out.

I didn't think anything was escalating at all.

I second that Stewart is pretty epic by the way.

Where should I start on the gauges in the dash suddenly not working.

Back history.

Just pulled turbo to reseal up pipes, clean ebps tube, and install new icps.

Not sure where to start diagnosing... sensors maybe?

Start with the fuses, #17 in the in cab fuse panel. It is a 10 amp which controls the gauges, tach ect.

Went through fuses last night. All seemed well. The gauges still bump when the key is first turned on. The fuel gauge doesn't read correct. The oil pressure gauge says 0 while running and the temp gauge goes to thermo nuclear.

Will do. Weird how three gauges went at the same time.

Make sure you got all the grounds hooked up if you had to remove any doing the work you did just before this happened..

Rescued from Page 2!

I'm going to the Elkhart Co. Fair tomorrow for the truck and tractor pulls like I do every year! Pretty excited again. In a few years I'll get to take my son like my dad took me. That'll make it even better.

Nice! I'm full steam ahead to get this 351 done and back in the truck so I can help my buddy rebuild the top end of his 5.3. It's gonna be fun!

Edit: then the weekend of the 6th I'm off to.Michigan to pick me up whites new mill! Lol

The grounds I have checked seem to be good.

I disconnected the sensor on tip of the water pump and my temp gauge went back down. I did wiggle the harness where it goes over the valve cover and I need to look at the large connector it plugs into... bit I am on my way to fixing it. ...
