Wifey likes the steps, that one might be a fight Travis & Falcon.

Mike, its a dog but at the same time it does run pretty good, sorta surprising. Its been so long sinse mine was stock I'm getting a kick out of it in away. My wife says, this one is quiter then ours. I just smiled at her and said wait until I get all my mods transfered over you will need your ear plugs again. I got a dirty look then I said, well if you want me to drive thousands of miles to get around a hill instead of going over the top of it I can leave it alone! LOL They just don't get it.

You come down and help me with all that stuff Bill LOL

Thats where having the time to work on it makes a difference now.

If I ever do a frame up, i'm sound deading everything.
I love the sound of the truck, but when I roll up the window, sometimes I just want it quiet.

I'm sure there will be lots of love and tears under that hood while he takes its virginity yet again.

If you look close you will see that big butt on the left is really pissing off the mule on the right. The mule says that there isn't enough room in this driveway for the both of us, LOL

You should definitely put the brush guard on the Grey Mare.

There was so many comments and questions that I'll have to reread this sometime. My nephew, if you remember me saying, buys insurance totals and rebuilds them and has parts all over the place including a good size warehouse full of stuff. He said that he has those toppers laying around and noboby wants them. Nate, get down here, I don't have room for it here, LOL. The offer to put them side by side in his warehouse to switch parts is still good!

Today he said he thought I did OK with the purchase. Even if I wanted to turn it, now is the time because of all the snow birds coming down for the winter. I'm not in it for the money, I just want the cc, dually for stability and one *** kicking OBS! What the fate of the old mule will be I just don't know right now.

I'm liking Bill's suggestions about either a rollpan or at least a chrome rear bumper, and the 22.5" Alcoas!

William, I agree! I love hearing the sounds of the exhaust, but not so much the engine noise coming through the firewall. Whenever I get around to tearing out my interior to put new floors and seats in the whole cab is getting sound-deadening!

Bill, I also was thinking of transferring the brush guard.

Ya Falcon, I'm also thinking of transferring the chrome rear bumper off of the mule over.

I'm going to break the spirit of the poor mule and it has served me so, so well! Makes me sad, I think I'm going to cry , seriously!

I like the steps.... might give you better aerodynamics and better gas mileage by keeping air out from under the truck....
