William, I agree! I love hearing the sounds of the exhaust, but not so much the engine noise coming through the firewall. Whenever I get around to tearing out my interior to put new floors and seats in the whole cab is getting sound-deadening!
The double carpet in my cab makes a difference on road noise, but not engine noise.

to kill the engine noise you gotta insulate the firewall and the areas underhood.

If I towed more I would totally get some of the 19.5" singles for my truck. Expensive, but you get a lot of miles out of those tires.

"The old gray mare ain't what she used to be". That's what I'll say in the future, maybe. I bet they want a pretty penny for those wheels! Mine aren't perfect but will have to do for now. Looks like salt, or something, got under the clear coat of part of the wheels, is there a way to fit that? That is if you know what I'm trying to say.

Ya Falcon, I'm also thinking of transferring the chrome rear bumper off of the mule over.

I'm going to break the spirit of the poor mule and it has served me so, so well! Makes me sad, I think I'm going to cry , seriously!
Glenn is going to interview "candidates" to purchase the Mule. That ol girl won't just go to any schlep off the street.

You could take the wheels in and get them powder-coated... Cheaper than a new set of wheels, and it'll look good and last a long time.

By the way, guys, I'm going to be in Nashville, TN this weekend. I'm not sure who's in the area out there, but I'm just letting you guys know in case somebody wants to party. I'll be down there with a friend. We'll be hitting up bars and stupid stuff like that.

It will be a very close thing. Take a long look at the front end and steering. Ball joints and steering parts are probably in order. Re-sping it with poly bushings in the back. New coils for the front. Engine and tranny mounts. Driveshaft rebuild. Fluids. Brakes. And, and, and, and........................
