The reason I asked for the measurement on the rear door on a crew cab was because I was wondering what the length difference was on a crew cab short bed vs an ext cab long bed. I was thinking my crew cab body would look pretty good on my ext cab lol. Turns out, the ext cab long bed is 8" longer than a crew short bed.... thatd be a heck of a gap somewhere lol. I could build my own 7" bed! Whos the body man on here! Lol
I couldn't see the vids Phil. Probably because I'm on a iPhone. Have you guys seen the truck rodeos. Most of the trucks are working trucks and in the races they weigh in at 140,000 pounds starting on the flat and hitting a hill. Pretty crazy when you can twist the frame enough to lift a tire on a street truck
I've seen clips of those rodeos before. Some serious HP being put down by those trucks - as you mentioned when they generate so much that they're twisting the frame and bringing wheels up, that's some power.
I'm in Manistee and family just left so I'll have some time to finally work on the slide outs now. Are you going to make it up this far? We have been enjoying the beach, Lake Michigan is a lot higher then last year, cold too, LOL
We're not quite that far north, Glenn but we're not too far away either. We're in Holland. PM me or something if you want to take some time and make a little road trip. We've got a whole herd of kids here (7 between us and our friends that we made the trip with) or I would volunteer to meet you somewhere in between. Looks like we are right at about 2 hours away. That may be too far for a day trip with the toad, lol.
