Rescued from page 2?!?! Good news from here. We sold the wife's Lincoln and jeep. Now the family has one multiuse v8 mercury mouaintneer. Man that thing is sweet. Of course there are things I need to do to it but I wouldn't know what to do without a project...

 

Sounds pretty nice! What year Mercury?

 

2006 with the 3v 4.6 v8.
Mainly the 3rd row seating and not being a jeep were needed. Lol

Now this guy who bought the 5er asked me to move it in March for him. People!

 

Sold the Lincoln to my sister and the jeep to my dad. Both were great cars so I would rather take less and have a family member in a good vehicle. I know I could got a lot more out of the jeep but my dad really needed something better. The sidekick is OK around town but its mostly a pos as its at almost 200k . I went through that jeep in all aspects and I think it'll serve him well.

That doesn't seem like too bad of a deal considering he bought it at least.

 

Depends on how far the guy wants it moved. I would have ironed that out in the deal if it were me.

 

It was part of the deal for me to move it 33 miles down the road to a RV park by a casino and the Colorado river. But his spot he rented isn't available until March 19th so I put it in their storage area. He offered me $50 to move it about a mile, hardly worth my time! I just want to be done with it, maybe I'll be in Vegas the 19th.

I had more in parts than he gave me. I kind of owe everything I am to him so it was time well spent..I would have given it to him if I could. My dad is my hero tho.
