Thanks guys. I am getting my hands on AutoEnginuity so I can scan it and be sure before I go tossing parts at it (I have an OBDII scanner but not for diesel). I have a spare cam sensor in the glove box, so I'll try changing that out since I have it on hand and we'll go from there.

No that's the oil fill riser part number I have been meaning to get you for a long time haha.

 

Todd, I guess you would have to look at it again but I think the SD tensioner would replace the one that you're having trouble with and wouldn't need the mounting hole that is buggered up. Again, I can't say for sure but it's worth a look.

 

That's what I'm wondering Nate. It clearly does away with that particular idler as Gabe had his on hand. However, does it use that mourning area? Dunno.

Bill it sounds like these guys have you in the right path for your hiccup. A good scan tool goes a long ways with these old trucks.

On a different note, we have SOME new lights at my house! Small victories. Lol

 

Yeah, that's why I ordered the AE kit - and I think it does more than just diesel since I got the enhanced Ford bundle so I might be able to use it on all the trucks.

Had my hitch issues before RRE. Welded in a couple patches and she was good to go. My brothers rented a 10k excavator this weekend and used the old girl to haul it around. They pulled into my driveway this afternoon, only for me to notice this. At least my welds held! Buckled the outside of the hitch though.

 

Ouch lol. That's what happens when you let family borrow your stuff! LOL!

Had a pretty eventful weekend. Used some of my "Roadrunner Retrieval" money and took the honey out for supper Saturday. And, o yea, bought some land

Yup, that's right, we are the official owners of an acre of land in Dundas, IL. Its not much but it does have an old feed mill on it. We went through it this weekend some and that place is like a time machine! Its awesome lol. We found all kinds of stuff ranging from old TV tubes, some old farm equipment, 40 hp three phase electric motors, and it even has a weight scale. Its my favorite part: the scales are the old slide scales, like what they use at the doctors office (I hope that makes sense). I could spend hours looking through everything! I drove down to it 3 times today intending to take pictures of it and forgot every time... We came across some old papers that ended up being HAND drawn blueprints of the mill itself. Dated 1938.

On a side note, one piece of equipment in there is a McCormick-Deering 10 inch feed grinder. I haven't a clue what it was used for (besides grinding feed obviously lol), how old it is, or if its even worth anything. Some of you on here are farmers and such, so maybe one of ya will know lol

Nothing too exciting this weekend. Just getting the show truck ready for the Indy Jamboree and fixing the 7.3. CPS seems to have solved my malady from last week as it's running good with a fresh one of those. Still have AE on order from Clay to run full diagnosis on it and make sure there's no other gremlins lurking.
