My wife always makes comments about all my trucks and my truck stuff and as she puts it.."trucks, trucks, trucks!" Well, I traded up two OBS F150s to put together and make a daily driver work truck, and I am going next weekend to pick up another 2wd cc dually PSD parts truck. That will make me a total of 12 OBS trucks I have. I came home today from hauling the two F150s in and went in the bathroom to pee, and there were a pair of handcuffs on the back of the toilet........should I be worried?

Most are just parts trucks Bill. When I get this F150 swapped to a 5spd, that one and my dually will be the only two that are drivable. Me, my son, and my son-in-law Tyler all drive OBS PSDs, so I like having parts. I was moving them all around one day and my wife came out there where I was and said " Oh how nice.....we have our own little junk yard". For a minute there I thought she was finally coming around to my way of thinking, but quickly realized that it was just sarcasm! LOL!!

Spent the weekend in Jersey with some of the NEST guys...we had a blast. Always good to hang out with them.
I got some bad news today. My great grandfather past away in his sleep. 99 years old. I think he had a great life and left behind a good legacy. He always said you can measure a mans wealth by his family and I think he had a pretty good one. Some of his stories from years past will remain with me for life.

Very sorry to hear that nick. Wow 99 years.just think about that...the changes in that time.it is simply amazing . when he was born in the the depression before ww1 I think..only very basic telecommunications yet look today at us on here and always connected.
He was born 10 years before my model t when vehicles were black had no electric starter or pumps of any kind. Radiators were brass and exposed for beauty and function.
No air conditioning for close to 50 yrs most likely. It was such a different world...no hippies, abortion, divorce ,cold war.
Simply amazing I can only imagine the stories nick.I think he left a pretty darn good family legacy.

Yeah the stories were always entertaining and I will always cherish his memories. I don't have a lot though cause he lived in holland his whole life. I've probably stayed a total of about a year out there over the course of my life. A woman got a hold of my family out there and let on a little secret he never shared with us. When she was about 5 years old he took her and her family into hiding on his property. He had an underground cellar in the pasture and housed them for a little over a year. She is Jewish and considers him a saint for the risk he took all those years ago. I couldn't imagine being in her or his shoes in those dark times. Maybe that's why he never mentioned it. Idk. I'm off to see my mom.
Not from his new donor truck
Geez I guess I missed several pages of this somehow.
Sorry for the bad news Nick. My great grandma died a couple years ago at the ripe age of 94. Her mind was getting pretty far gone from Alzheimer's, so it was bitter sweet. It sure didn't make it any easier though. All in all, Im pretty lucky. All 4 of my grandparents live in the same town as me and theyre all still alive and mostly healthy
On a slightly happier note, I finally got my door hinge pins put on!
