It's been a great holiday weekend here! Dinner at the inlaws Wed. At my brother's yesterday. Now 17 here in our little home for big breakfast this morning. Wonderful time with family!.... The only thing that could make it better is if my son and Dad were still here.. Sorry bout your bad luck, Bill. Any time you need an extra hand, holler. You got my number. If I possibly can, I'll be there, buddy. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!

the sun finally chased the clouds away after 14 days of overcast rainy cold wet windy weather. so even though it is only 48 degrees outside, the sun and lack of wind makes it feel like it is closer to 65 degrees.
i may even venture outside again and see if i can rearrange the driveway.

I didn't get what I wanted this Christmas. Every person that asked me what I wanted got the same answer: nothing. I didn't want a dang thing. The rat race of Christmas irritates the heck out of me. But of course, family being family, they just "had" to get me something, because it's Christmas!

Call me a Scrooge. I hate that aspect of Christmas. I'd be far more content to see my whole family at the Christmas Eve service at church.

(If you have kids it's more understandable)

I feel ya. Pretty tired of the whole commercial chase of Christmas, especially how it starts in September and October and lasts til the end of the year.

Well, the consumerism holiday is almost over.

Tax season is right around the corner, and you'll feel better once you get those boxes wrapped in that fancy yellow tape. I know I will.

I wasn't too excited about Christmas either. I told the kids not to get me anything because money is tight.

But my daughter got me a bottle opener, which I kind of like. Even found the perfect place to hang it.

I haven't bought a Christmas present for anyone else since about 2005, and none have been bought for me since then either. Generally speaking, I find some way to give back to someone I know who is struggling or has a pretty specific need over the holidays.

I've been to the bottom (I won't spill the whole life story here) and know what it's like - and have bounced back. So, I'll take care of my own "stuff" over the course of the year, and give back where I can so it makes one person's holiday a bit better since I'm in a place where I can.

The weather was nice here today also. 50s and sunny. I wrenched on the truck some and enjoyed it. My wife got me the dual steering stabilizer kit from bar none and i had it installed in about 30 min. I never put one on since the axle swap so i really like the new feel to the steering.

I actualy just seen that today when i was checking out different sites to see if they had something new. That doesnt look like a bad lit either. I like buying stuff like that, that is made here from a smaller company. Rather than one that is mass produced. It seems more uniqe to me. And better quilty.

Yeah the PMF stuff seems to be good quality. I was going to go with their reverse shackle kit too, but ended up using Sky Offroad's kit instead. Just gotta install all that stuff next.

I'll take 50 and sunny all winter, Glenn!
