On a separate note: I wont be on here much in the next 4 days. Im going CAMPING! Aaron seems to always be on vacation so I figured I would too! Lol, just kidding. This trips been planned since April.

At this campground, they do a Halloween thing. You dress up the campsite and all the kiddies go around all dressed up and trick or treat at the campsites. Its quite a blast!
Nope. 7.3. She's had a rough life.

This gives you a slight idea of what I'm working with. The lower part of the motor is soooooo much worse.

Chain O' Lakes State Park just down the road from me does that. Last year we took our niece and our dogs. One dog was dressed up as a skeleton, and the other like a dairy cow. Our niece dressed up as a bumble bee. People were giving us dog treats, but the dogs were too excited to eat them, lol.

C'mon guys, you think I haven't thought of that? It is so bad that it needs some sort of industrial cleaner/power washed. Then it's leaking so bad, it gets covered again in about 15 min.

So a guy at work offered to pay me every penny I bought my truck for plus give me his Mathews bow that he bought brand new last year...

I don't know much of anything about bows, but I doubt its worth the effort of trying replace my truck, so I think I'm gonna turn him down.

A good Matthews bow is probably $600-$1k new (I am guessing, since it has been a while since I looked, and I'm not a big bow hunter). I'd keep poking him and and see what else he will throw in to sweeten the pot. Tell him you're more an AR15 kind of guy, lol.

Yeah, he's gonna have to do better than that. Heck that would barely be worth the trip to get it here from TN. I don't know much of anything about bows, but he said it was a new model last year and he thought it'd still be worth $1500. He definately is going to have to sweeten the deal since I'm not sure I could replace this truck seeing how many people are looking and not finding anything comparable.

Yeah, I don't know about all that. $1,500 seems high to me. If its worth that, tell him to sell it and give you $1500 cash, lol. It's not worth that to you if you don't bow hunt.

You can easily have $1500 or more tied up in a new Matthews that is fully set up to hunt. If you account for arrows, broad heads, sights, rest, quiver and many other small accessories, it gets quite expensive. All I've shot for years is Matthews bows, but they are like anything else, just because you have that much in it, doesn't mean it's worth that much nor will you get that back out of it. Bows depreciate quickly because they are constantly coming out with new, faster, harder shooting bows every year.

This morning I was greeted with a puddle of diesel. Removed the strap and the tank is full of rust under the strap. Half a tank and leaking so I dropped it out of there. The rest of the tank is in bad shape so I ordered a 38 gallon one. I wan't going to do the mod but looks like I'm getting pushed into it, LOL. I hope I can get it into there, the 5er hitch has it pretty well bolted down for removing the bed.

I moved the exhaust to the side and am soaking the bolts to take off the class IV hitch or whatever it is. I'm sure that will be in the way too but will of course go back on.
