So one of my mirrors makes a loud pop halfway between opening and closing and it locks up. Anybody have any suggestions to fix this or should i deal with loosing my truck for a few days for such a stupid problem?

 

probably need to take it apart and lube the gears that do the extending.

 

The "click" lock seemed to be what was holding it up. Would click twice when extending instead of just once like it does when someone manually moves them.

Left them in all night came out today and its working just as good as new again. Maybe that safety just got jammed up somehow?
