Dual vacuum single point dizzy...how do you set this up?
hey guys never dealt with a dual vacuum dizzy but i got one with the engine i just bought.
first of all what is the purpose? how do you hook it up properly, the rear vacuum port is currently plugged off and idk if it works that way?
second does this thing have any dis-/-advantages?
will it serve as a good trigger for MSD?

The (little) I know is that one vacuum line provides the vacuum advance. The other provides retard. Exactly what the benefit of the retard is I don't know. Emissions? Its a good guess the PO left the advance line hooked up and removed the retard line.
Is it good for MSD? It comes down to two questions. Is it in decent shape and functional? Does it have an ignition curve suitable for your engine? If the engine is stock or close the curve is likley OK.
I'm sure others will add more.
