yeh, diesel j. once i figure out how to do px on this android thing i got. :b just glad to get out of winter hibernation. even without much snow, cold and windy not good for wrenchin.
update/ not takin chances. have carter lift pump reserved @ napa.
might even rplx the rubber fuel line on gen princ. (gp) it has a protector sleeve on it, but i am getting squirrely about old components. i confess... when we first got this truck, it was gonna be a patch n drive.....wronggg. can't do that to a good machine. so....the project from Hell or Heaven, whatever. when rubber hits da road, there will be no dead bodies...i cruised threads. re ip specs (bookmarked)and other pointers from regulars, here and 'oilburners'. .... not to mention youtube.
so.... when the wind quits blowin, lift pump goes in, new injectors (obviously) ip ( from that neat place in montana) new thermostat( on gen princ?) hope it all works. everything else seems pretty good. ( ref to what was done last year.)
this has taken so long but will be worth it, to go places and to haul my old horse safely.
hey, goodmorning aune. yeh, its in missoula. has the steel sleeve ip bores and the good prices. can i say their name here? how u doin, btw? hope stuff goin better for u.
well, i probably need to address the fan shroud, as well. it's missing a big chunk out the top. it seems to make sense to have a whole one in place. if one isn't available at the local salvage yard, i might ask yall where one might be found. we can like send for it...it's the 6.9 1983 f 250. standard.
