My brother lost his turbo today @ 105k miles
Ford told him that the fins on the turbo had started to come apart. I don't know much more than that but will post more after I talk more with my brother.
Ford said it would cost around $4000.00 to fix and he should have it back tomorrow night. He was lucky that he caught it before it grenaded and went into the motor.

Ford put the turbo in today, finished about 5pm. On the test drive they found that they tore on of the gaskets causing it to leak. My brother told them yesterday that he had to have the truck today (5/16) because he had to leave for Williston, ND the evening of the 16th. The dealer gave him a 350 to use for the trip so that he could pull his loaded trailer up there and back (1500 miles). That's the same load as in my sig pic. That is pretty cool that they stepped up like that.
