Need Part number info

I have a set of spindles and getting several different answers. I have not found the numbers on the spindles but have them off the backing plates D4TA-Lt 2k005 and D4TA- not stamped very well, possible P or F and 7 maybe? -2k004
Any help would be great, thanks.

Welcome to FTE

These are not backing plates, these are front disc brake dust shields.

Look closely at the suffixes of the marked ID numbers on your dust shields, compare with the Ford truck parts catalog suffixes, as there are two different types.

Marked: D4TA-2K004-EA or HA = Ford part number: D3TZ-2K004-B (replaced D4TZ-2K004-A) .. Right Dust Shield.

Marked: D4TA-2K005-EA or HA = D3TZ-2K005-B (replaced D4TZ-2K005-A) .. Left Dust Shield.

Applications: 1973 F100/250 2WD; 1974 F100/250 2WD before serial number U60,001 / ALL with single piston calipers.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Marked: D4TA-2K004-EB or HB = D4TZ-2K004-B .. Right Dust Shield.

Marked: D4TA-2K005 EB or HB = D4TZ-2K005-B .. Left Dust Shield.

Applications: 1974 F100/250 2WD from serial number U60,001; 1975/79 F100/150/250 2WD / ALL with single piston calipers.

The spindles have cast ID numbers on them, will be the same or similar to this: D3TA-3107-CD or DD right / D3TA-3108-CD or DD left.
