RABS valve fitting size? 1999 F150
Replacing rear brake lines, and found there is a weird fitting on the RABS valve, 7/16" hex, but no place for a back up wrench, looks risky trying to break it loose. I may just give it a pull and see, but afraid I may end up at the Ford dealer buying a new RABS valve. Only other thing I can think of would be to flare the non-rusty few inches of line just out of the RABS unit. Problem with that is, it's not easy to get in ther with flaring tools (plus, would be working upside down). Or, pull RABS valve and flare with valve off of truck.
Anyone change lines on one of these, and have any advice? Thanks.

Easiest way is to spray something like PB Blaster on there, let it sit a while. Then with the flare nut wrench, and a mallet or small hammer, tap the wrench a few times to break the nut loose. Trying to just torque it off won't break any corrosion loose between the line/fitting.
If you still damage the line/fitting, Autozone, and probably everyone else, has replacement lines, plain steel or coated. A lot of your lines are just standard sizes, and the parts places have all the little adapter fittings for the occasional oddball.
