1963 brake cylinder
PLEASE HELP!!!! I'm having problems with my 63' f100. I have read every thread on master cylinder swap but cannot find anyone that says what master cylinder from what car I can swap out to use on my 63' iam going to put disc brakes on soon but my master brake cyl. Is leaking and dripping on my foot and I have to pump the brakes to stop. I know not safe. Thanks for any info.

same here
I have the same issue on my '63 F100. I'm getting ready to install a power booster and since one of my front single piston cylinders is leaking, I want to replace/upgrade both front cylinders. I noticed that my rear wheels have dual piston cylinders. Those are working fine so I will just be changing out the front.
EDIT: Oops, just realized you are talking master cylinder and I am talking wheel cylinders. Sorry for the thread hijack. FWIW, you could consider the same power brakes upgrade which includes a dual master cylinder. It is $300 and is sold as completely bolt on, no mods necessary. http://www.classicperform.com/Store/...ck/4852BBD.htm. I have opted to do this first, instead of the front disk upgrade. I'll see how it goes and can always go to front disks later.

I took a master cylinder off a 86 ford ranger. Did not have the power booster just the M/C got all the brake lines on with the new plumbing on today. Works great. Bolted right on just had to cut the rod down about a 1 1/2" down and it all bolted on now I need to figure out the brake lights
