This is the wrong parts catalog picture, it's for 1965/66 F100/250 4WD & F350, Old Harley posted it in error.
Look at post 11 again = Old Harley edited the post, now the picture is correct = 1965/66 F100/250 2WD

I finally ordered the parts I needed. Got parts form both DC and an obsolete vender.
Here was the source of the problem.
Felt washer was gone on one side. Both nylon ***** were in there, but pretty beat up. As you can see, one was worn out completely in one spot, and one was warped and on its way.
As expected, all the parts were worn. I didn't get a new Z bar, but these parts have improved it considerably.
I drove it a few miles and it does seem to be a lot better. It was so easy...why did I wait so long??
But I don't feel quite satisfied...
The adjustment rod is so noisy. It rattles when the clutch is fully let out and just sitting there, driving down the road in gear, or in neutral at a stand still. I don't understand why there isn't some sort of bushing for that connection (adjustment rod to z bar).
Any suggestions? Maybe I could find a bushing that would fit at ACE hardware?

I tried to find a bushing and thought of drilling it out and using a brass bushing, but I didn't want to make mine to far from stock.

part number 356573-S in this picture...are just washers I think? That is the part I'm talking about. I am wondering why there isn't a bushing on the stud that comes off the equalizer bar...does yours have one? What is the "stock" bushing you're talking about Broomfield?
This is the only thing rattling at this point...

An informative thread...ive been snagging the thru floor rods for these for about the last year...ive got 3 or 4 of them now along with a frame bracket ...I recently got these parts off of a 64 Y block 4speed rig...bronze bushings in the Eq bracket...the thru floor rod was in one piece although Im amazed it held given the cab mounts were toast...I havent tried it yet...but Im gonna be trying to put bronze bushings in my rig when i go through my clutch/brake pedal linkage...The thru the floor rods ive gotten fwiw are all FoMoCo replacements except 1...As best as i can tell on the rigs ive pulled apart...the pedals and bushings were all lubed with graphite originally for whatever reason...
I do recall years ago driving my then brother in laws 68 and watching the pedals kick from side to side alot when i shoved in the clutch...quite a hairy feeling...especially given it was the first time i drove it...if I knew then what I know now...LOL...
Theres basicly 3 bushings used on the floor shift trucks...the 4 nylon bushings, 2 clutch release rod/thru the floor rod and the bushings on the Eq bar/bracket...all of which Bill has mentioned their respective part numbers...its funny what a handful of little nylon or bronze bushings can do to take up slop....

When placed on either side of the adjustment rod (along with 72015-S cotter key), these 2 wave washers apply pressure to keep the rod firm to the E-bar, so it won't wiggle around.
356573-S2.. Spring Steel Wave Washer-7/16" / Obsolete
BERKELEY FORD in Moncks Corner SC has 42 = 843-761-8284 x 656.
GREEN SALES CO. in Cincinnati OH has 212 = 800-543-4959.
* Standard (aka hardware) parts shown in illustrations may not have the complete part numbers suffix. The 2 was missing until I added it.
The text section may be required to get the complete standard part number. In this case: Text ~ Section 75 ~ Page 15 = Listed at bottom of page under basic part number 7521.
