Bucket seats

I got some awesome bucket seats out of a mustang GT and put them in real quik yesturday. I don't like the ride of them and they need to be leveled and i want to raise them alittle. any idea how i go about doing this? i was thinking long bolts and some multi purose bushings from the local ACE hardware to block the seats up? just a thought.

Remember that whatever you do has to hold your A$$ when you slam into something at 60mph (or when something slams YOU), so don't build in a weak link. If you HAVE to space it out, use Grade 8 or Material Class 8.8/10.8 bolts and wide washers so they don't pull thru the bracketry. A taller bracket would be MUCH safer, though.

steve83 is spot on. Maybe you can beef up the installation by installing a metal brace underneath the vehicle that ties into the mounting studs.
