oh ok gotcha. yea its more than what i wanted to cut out too but it looked funny without it and the box ould have looked way off. i saw your other thread about the supercab bronco. i think it was on FSB but some where i saw a build with a 70's model standard cab and a mini box on a bronco frame it was wicked. not exactly the same but similar.

F2Bronco or Bronc50. Body swap build thread - FSB Forums

Have that & every other thread I can find that remotely relates to the supecab/bronco thing saved, along with a bunch of pics.

No just took me a while to figure out the easiest way to go about it. i cut the old radiator support mounts off and used some siple l shaped brackets from the existing support mounts to the radiator support.

its going to need some adjustment and i havent put the hood on to check the vertical alignment yet but it holds solid. i just removed the bolts and spacers that were there stock ( one had already broke off in the accident). then i used the old support spacers 3in washers with a 3/8ish hole on the bottom of the bracket. then i bolted the l brackets down and hooked the rad support to it. sorry if none of that makes sense. i can try to explain better if needed. any who then i hung the fender just to see

looks pretty good to me. like i said its all going to need adjusting but its nice to see how its all going to go to together.

oh i forgot to mention i had to cut off the original mounts on the rad support because the 91's radiator was too wide.

Looks good & I understand what you had to do based on the pics.

Any way I could bug you for a pic of the core support mount from the front? I'm trying to see how much of the radiator mount, etc. you had to cut of the 70's core support.

Got some work done. i sold my bronco to get some money so i can finish this thing. kind of makes me sad but something had to go. and now im more motivated to finish. i actually drove it the other day just in the drive way but still. im pretty excited. so down to nuts and bolts. i burnt up the silenoid and replaced it. and i did some body work on the back of the cab and painted over it to keep from rusting. i also got the exhaust plumbed and hung with some zip ties just to check for fitment. i still need to weld it all up and put the hangers on. i also got a new j/y steering colum picked it up for $75 already pulled and key cilinder removed. here's the pics. sorry i dont post as much i'll try to post up more often.

its hard to tell in this picture but maybe you can look at your's and compare im not quite done with this i need better/longer hardware and im going to drill the bottom tabs on the radiator and put some spacers behind to better mount the radiator.

cleaned out the shed and got the truck pulled out and put the bed on. also cut open the rain gutter/ a/c fresh air intake to get at some rust. also got in an order from LMC. windshield and weatherstriping kits. also found some more rust. yay

Click the image to open in full size.i forgot how big this truck actually is. it looks smaller without the bed on.

kind of hard to see because half of the picture is out of focus but the rust goes half way across. i just drilled the welds and used an air hamer and pry bar to break what was left. then i cut four places to get the metal to bend without warping or messing up the shape of the vents.

new found rust. its on the driver side down by the drain.
