2 or 3 spider gears??

I just bought a limited slip clutch rebuild kit for the rear differential in my '02 7.3L PSD Excursion. When I opened the box the dealer gave me and looked at the instructions, it said that the kit was for the 10.25" version of this diff, and I know that all Excursions have the 10.5" ring gear. I'm also coming to find out that there is a 3-spider gear version of the 10.5" diff, and this kit is obviously for the 2-spider version. Did the '02 PSD Ex come with the 2- or 3-spider version of this differential? If 2, then is this clutch kit for the 10.25" diff the right one even though I've got the 10.5" diff??
