I don't know how many times I've put a t-stat in a pot of boiling water to see if it was working. That would be pretty cool to be able to see it.

Aybody have the part number for a t-stat gasket from Ford? Seems like I heard that was the only place you should get one from. Either way, I'll need one for my 96 long stem 195*.

It's just a rubber o-ring.
No gasket that I know of, unless the long stem is diff from the short stem.

Right on man. I was thinking that I heard to only get them from Ford for some reason. Must've been something else.
