You guys are right. It's a parallel. I got it all installed. Now I need to make a panhard now. My pics won't load here. I will try again later.

Cool. Looking forward to seeing some pics. I am currently partway through my triangulated 4-link install. I bought a similar looking kit (but tri'd) from eBay for cheap. I probably would have bought the kit you bought, but I did not see it. However, as you mentioned, it not being a true bolt-in for the 48-49 is too bad.

I am partial to the Watts link over the panhard bar, but the panhard is much easier to install and the difference isn't very noticeable.

second_chance.custom, Glad that one got straiten out... Now let see if we can figure out why you can't attach a pic. Is your pic already hosted on the web somewhere or are you trying to attach a pic from your computer hard drive? For a non-paying supporter of FTE, you can not attach from your HD. Your pics have to be uploaded to the web first, then use the button above that looks like a postcard with a mountian on it to copy the URL address of the pic. Hope this helps. Looking forward to seeing the pics.

I just installed the TCI kit. Look for my 1954 f100 thread. Page 3 or 4. Its really really easy. You should know center line and ride height. Hardest part is welding the brackets to housing.

Aaron54,
I should have also said my truck is 1951.From what I read the leaf mounts on 48 to 52 are 45" and on 53 to 56 are 47.5" not sure if it will make a difference or not maybe some else might have ran in to this?
