did my fuel pump go out???
#47
You mentioned a few times that there was only 6V at the pump. That is no good. There are 2 wires going to the fuel pump, one is ground and the other supplies 12V, which you should see for about 20 seconds after key is turned on.
Fuse # 19 (20A) in the under hood fuse box supplies power to the fuel pump relay which then sends power to the fuel pump. There is also a fuel inertia cutoff switch located behind the passenger side kick panel which interrupts power to the pump in the event of a crash.

ok, its running. here is what i did to the fuses.....
on my fuse box, the #16 slot, which is the 4th big fuse on the passenger side of the box. its a 30amp.
and the #19 slot, the 7th big fuse on that same side. its a 20amp.
Both were blown. Dont know why. One of them corrected the problem, and im not sure what the other one was for.

On the back of the fuel bowl you'll see an elec plug, just unplug and put a piece of electrical tape around it. It will disable your water in fuel light also, so drain it once a month just incase of water. The heater itself is pretty much useless, and could leave you stranded if/when it shorts out....which you know already... Glad you got it fixed.
