I know what you mean.....engineer to engineer! I would like to know if they actually tested the sensors to verify that they each are working properly. I have a feeling I will know soon if they are not working correctly. Have been putting more miles on lately, so it may show up earlier than a month from now.
All of this really makes me want to tune and delete! But want to make sure that this isn't part of something bigger that needs to be addressed within the warranty period.

Well, the CEL is on again. Came back on Tuesday shortly after leaving work. Seems like this light coming on shortly after starting truck, well before the truck is up to normal operating temp. Truck is scheduled to go back to dealer on Monday. Hopefully this will be the last time. I'm thinking that this is a faulty EGT sensor causing the light to come on. Truck still runs good and doesn't appear to be making oil or anything like that. However it does regen more often since the CEL started coming on.

If you are going into regens more often, its probably the sensor before the DPF filter causing the problems.

Dealer visit today results..........mid EGT sensor is faulty! They are ordering a new sensor and it will be installed on Monday 7/9.
