Damnit. This just got added to my list. Those brakes look just amazing.

As far as braking options, anyone know of any brake component swaps within ford?

For example, something similar to putting Cobra brakes on a Foxbody mustang, sort of interchange?

Well, over time the powder coat did turn a little darker red and the shine went away. But as for stopping power, they are still great. Even with my 37x13.50x22's. I am still on the original pads and rotors from day one. I was wanting to do the hydroboost swap and I have all the components to do so. But the other thread with those results aren't that promising. Before I got this setup from SSBC I wanted to swap with the 05 and up super duty with hydroboost. But since nobody knew if it would work, I didn't do it.

Wow, I just looked at the original post date when I got these. It's been coming up on 3 years!!! And have about almost 40,000 miles on them. I probably will need new pads in about 6 months or so. I will not even waste my time and will get the same pads and a new set of rotors too.

Hydroboost sucks. I've been doing hydroboost deletes on SD's. The latest is on 37's and you can spin the steering wheel with one finger - even while stepping on the brakes! The brakes are solid too. I'm using a mechanical vacuum pump from E-series 7.3 and a custom bracket.

Wow. What's the trick. Because I can bearly turn my wheel unless I'm moving.. And I've got the v10. Is the pump alot stronger?

Any pics you could share?

FWIW I tried an aspirator, it did increase the vac at the booster by 1 in-hg but couldn't tell a difference in braking performance.

$1100 bucks now for the front brake kit

SSBC's own web page states "Minimum wheel size: ST", and I would assume "ST" is supposed to imply 'stock'?:
SSBC:: A193-1

This page states "Minimum Wheel Size Stock":
SSBC Quick Change Aluminum Brake Caliper Upgrade Kit A193-1

I'll try to do a write-up one of these days... In a nutshell, its a custom bracket with vac pump running on stock belt, a vac booster from gas SD and a custom PS hose from pump to PS box.

Not sure about the PS pump - they all look the same to me?? Everyone who drives the ones we've converted immediately comments about how easy it is to steer.

Yup, that's what I was gonna ask for!

With my 37's, there aint no turning even with two hands, while stopped, foot on the brakes.

Hey Rob I am looking to get these since i am rebuilding my entire truck basically lol and was wondering i know you haven't had to change your pads yet or maybe you are about to but they are H2 pads can't find anything on the interwebs about replacement pads?

Also i am about to swap to Hydroboost for my 12V Fummins swap after reading the last few posts is that a bad idea?I heard Hydroboosts stops much better then the Vacuum boost systems in the gas trucks.

Ok - I realize this is a fairly old thread - but I hate you guys. I have a '13 F250 Platinum that needs brakes. No one makes an 8-piston caliper for the '13. TCE offers a Wilwood kit but they are 6-piston and don't fit the stock wheels. Stillen / AP make a 6 but at $4,600 I'm cringing a bit. Anyone got any suggestions?
