UVC connection AGAIN? only did passenger side last time(had access to code reader for bank). would you think drivers side if you were to guess or same side again? used the so-called repair kit. At $80 a valve gasket.... did not replace gaskets last time. will replace this time with Dorman brand??
tips to getting covers off???
I dont have access to diesel code reader where we are at present time....gonna fix that pesky water drain off assembly lever leak. yes i have the delrin orings just was always chicken to do it and lose the screws.

You'll need some socket extensions, some swivel adapters to get to a couple of bolts on the valve covers. Also, I used a metal coat hanger to hold the heater hoses out of my way on the passenger side and hold the harnesses out of my way on the driver's side. I would also recommend a magnetic bolt holder so you won't loose any bolts.

ok getting ready to barn her and tear it down. just want to run something by everyone before surgery begins.... the rough(misfire) and ses light sometimes comes on when started sometimes not. always comes on and misfires a few miles. flicker on and off a few then runs fine rest of day????

My truck being a 4x4 I got tired of climbing up and down,so I used a track hoe and dug two holes the width of the front tires, now when I have to work on it I just pull it easily down into the holes,it puts the top of the grill a little lower than waist high...for the most part I can do a turbo RR standing on the ground.
