body swap Truck to van

I have a 1992 F250 reg cab long box with 351 and 5speed manual tranny, I have had the idea in my head to swap the body off with a van body for some time now. i haven't been able to find any information on how to do this or if it's even possible. I hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction.

I dont think its possible. The truck frame raises torwards the rear, whereas the van frames are flat all the way back

Impossible.

The engine doesn't sit at the right place for one. And the frame is different as well.

Be a heck of alot easier converting a van to the 5 speed.

With enough money and a welder anything is possible. You would have to Cut the frame, weld up a new frame, change the engine and transmission to the van type with the van style mounts etc. However, you would be able to convert a van into a 5 speed a lot easier and a lot cheaper than putting a van body on the truck. The only way to do it practically on your truck is to find a cut away ambulance box and pull the bed off the truck and mount the ambulance box in it's place. If you stripped the box of all the extra equipment and found an aluminum box you might be okay with weights but I think you would still have to upgrade to the 3/4 ton springs in the rear.
