RTV is an acronym for... "Room Temperature Vulcanizing"

The Ford Red..... Try VHT, Duplicolor, Rustoleum, or Plasti-Kote spray bombs.

For a truly professional and tought color coat, spray cans can't hold a candle up to catalyzed paint (color, reducer, & hardener).

I have airbrush's and all kinds of spray guns since I restored in the 80's and 90's..but for the painting of my engine block..I am just going to use spray cans. I mean..I am watching a video of a guy pulling his engine out thru the driver side of the pickup and then thru the driver door.

Can't you drop the engine down underneath as you raise it up on a lift????? i have a lift available to me and i thought it would just be easy to raise my truck after I break all the bolts. Then the engine and trans would stay on a table as the truck went up. Isn't this possible? ALL i keep seeing on the net are guys pulling their engines thru the inside of the truck and out thru the doors...

thanks
steve

PULLING ENGINE

I saw where a guy decided to take out his 6 and put in an 8 cylinder. He pulled the engine with a regular engine puller, cherry picker, and he brought it out thru the opening of the driver's door.

so, he pulled out the engine he had with his truck sitting on the ground and then he put the V8 in thru the driver's door opening.
