Start solenoid problems.

on my 97, just had a new engine installed. Suddenly the Lo presser AC switch died. Now the Start Solenoid (I think) just clicks sometimes.

Is this Solenoid on the Firewall the Start Solenoid?

I wish we could load photos from the PC. I' have not been able to reach Photo Bucket for a month now and there Help desk is not able to help me.

That solenoid acts as a relay now there is another solenoid on the starter.

Ditto RebColonel on the solenoid. The heavy red cable to that solenoid should be inspected for corrosion right at the solenoid. The connector there is notorious for having the stranded copper battery cable disintegrate. Can be fixed with a #4 welding cable lug.
