17.5, way nice. Over the top HiO.. over the top. 12.5 is the best I've seen in 45 years on my F 250 4x4 but then again, I have 4:11.. I love following your build.

About $12,600... more than half of that is just the EFI and TKO. Oh well.

Another way to look at it is that it is a rusted, decent driver for $6,000.

Haven't seen 'em, sorry. But you can drive up here and borrow mine! Of course, the gas and time to do that would cost more than just buying another set...

Hey Tiger, Ya got any water up there? So Cal is dry as a bone. Quit washing your truck, so's the So Cal guys can water their lawns...

BTW, I've got close to 9K in mine now, and will be just over when I get the A/C in..

12K isn't bad for a FI truck..

Not much of an update but what I did does contribute to the "what ifs" in life.

I assembled a "Survival Kit" for the LBB. ...It consists of glass and ATC fuses, a spare starter solenoid, wire terminals, a couple of Megafuses, a multimeter, duct tape, electrical tape, rolls of wire, bulbs, sections of fuel hose and vacuum hose, drive belts, and bailing wire.

I started to fill the toolbox with tools and it dawned on me that it would be short on sockets. Off to HF for a couple of 130-piece took kits in blow-molded boxes for $28 each. I got two - one for the LBB and the other for the 73 4x4. They're good enough for quick on-the-road repairs - not for typical wrenching.

Still on the list to get is a fire extinguisher for each truck and perhaps some jumper cables.

Oh, I also picked up some hog ring pliers.

OK amigos, look at this, and see if it helps in your organization efforts..

Dee Zee Cab Organizer - Tough Guy | AW Direct

Looks to me like it has the shape & size of the in-cab fuel tanks. With some after market fabbing, it could be lockable.. ??

I saw nice one some sheet metal guy built must have built on my rounds last week.

Look pretty good. I would have gotten it but still have in cab tank.
No place to store stuff until if, I ever do a rear tank install.

I don't want to carry my spare tire in the bed or any other place.
