HIO Silver's Lo-Buck Bumpside Build

All Fired Up
'been struggling today to get the Mark VIII fan to engage and turn on. 'Ended up connecting the ground straight to the battery before it woke up. Works as advertised on both hi and low settings.
Also installed the trans cover with its Mach 1 boot and cover plate. It looks as if FoMoCo installed it at the Milpitas plant back in the day.
The Magnaflows sound waaaay better than the Flowmasters. The video's sound quality doesn't do it justice.....it has a nice burble to it.

50 Percent Off at PnP!
.. went pickin' today and scored a few items. Only one Dent and one Bump in the yard. The taco truck arrived as I was departing so I had lunch in the parking lot.
. A center console out of 90s Bronco for the LBB cuz bucket seats are coming up!. $10. It needs both sides of the latch. It didn't dawn on me but I think glove boxes use the same mechanism.
. A bumper delete license plate light for the LBB cuz it's not gonna have a rear bumper or roll pan for a while. $4
. Headlight buckets and mounts for the 73... It's gonna get quad 7-inchers one of these days. $8
. A nice pair of old school bumper guards for the 71. $8
... not pictured are four modern exhaust hangers & insulators off a few Yukons. They're for the LBB's tail sections which turn 90°. I noticed just idling that they had slipped with the pipes starting to point ever downwards.

Personal opinion here but, the '70 Mustang high-back seats just look too bulky (thick) to me and, they really aren't that much more comfortable than the earlier Mustang low-backs. They have VERY MINOR adjustability of the seat backs to get a comfortable angle out of them.
On the other hand, I had an '89 and two '90 model Mustang GTs. The Fox chassis seats are a high back design. The seat backs have a wide range of up right/recline adjustability, (and anywhere in between), with a simple pull of the adjustment lever on the side of the seat.
On the Fox Mustang GT models, the seats have the addition of adjustable hip bolsters (adjustment **** on side of the seat) that will adjust the bolsters inward or outward to fit the foot print of your duff.
They also have an adjustable slide-out portion on the front of the seat for your thighs.
They also come with power lumbar support that can be inflated/deflated with a switch that's on the side of the seat (a simple electrical wiring hook up to make functional in your truck).
I put a set of Fox seats in my '68 Mustang back in 1996, using my stock '68 sliding seat tracks. It only required drilling one hole on each side, at the rear of the seat frame, to bolt the Fox seats to my '68 Mustang seat tracks.
Comparison of stone age low-back '67 (deluxe interior) Mustang seat to a '90-'93 Fox Mustang GT seat.
You could reupholster the Fox seat in vinyl, cloth, a combination of vinyl/cloth, leather or whatever you like.
