2002 mini cooper vs 97 f150 4.6
#16
Back on the farm, one of our otherwise goody-two-shoes neighbors had a 390 Torino. He did some work on it and it ran pretty good. So one late night on a deserted road, he stops and gives it the old hammer down, lights up his bias-belted tires, and thinks he is on his way. He missed the State Patrolman sitting in a dark parking lot at the corner. Major ticket.
You never know where the cops are. You never know where a stalled or wrecked vehicle might be on the road. Not to mention livestock, pets, wandering children, bums and hobos etc.
You are good so far. Keep it that way, and resist the urge.
If it's you, you're going to be really upset just before lights out. If it's someone else, you will be haunted the rest of your life.
Driving is safer than ever, but it's still over 30,000 per year, including about 5000 teens. Some things are unavoidable. Street racing is 100% avoidable.
