06 f-250 passanger side ujoint and bearing help.
well as the title says u joint or bearing.
I have not had the pleasure of changing out the bearing or the u-joint on my rig and would like to know how i can tell if its either or, i jacked the truck up and checked the tire, there is no noise other then the light sound of the brakes. it spins free in auto on the hub but when i lock it in and try and spin it i get resistance then it lets up a bit and then resistance, etc this is with the tire articulated, while straight it spins free. Ive always kept up on the greasing the u-joints and hubs so not sure whats going on. the drivers side is like new. when i got the truck at 120000kms i had to change out the hub on the passenger side cause it shredded the needle bearings so i fixed that but didn't do anything else to the assembly, should i have?
Specs: 2006 F-250 xlt 5.4l super-cab short-box
