Another Ohio truck meet! Sunday, June 3rd

On Sunday, June 3rd we plan on having another truck meet in Millersburg, Ohio. You may have seen our past meets 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. This one will be the same. We’ll get together and shoot the breeze about Ford trucks (and trucks in general), then we’ll drag a trailer up and down a 15%-17% grade hill and compare how the trucks did. It’s always a fun, educational, and occasionally piston melting, turbo breaking event.

Post here if you are interested in coming. As we get closer to the date I'll be posting campground and hotel information for those that may be coming before hand.

I also posted this thread in the Excursion, General Diesel, 6.7, 6.4, 6.0, 7.3, 6.2, 3.5/2.0 EcoBoost, 6.8 and 5.4/4.6 forums.

Rather than Mike having to constantly find and bump this thread, it's now a sticky.

Now that's a great idea, but unfortunately most of us don't have gooseneck hitches.

My plan is to leave it as one until at least a couple of weeks after the meet and you guys post the videos and results.

Thanks Mike but not necessary my friend.

I'm just glad you guys have another one in the works.

I'd actually like to work on doing something along the lines of putting together a folder similar to the Tech Folder in which we could place videos and the results of all of the meets. I need to get with Tom on this one and see what we can put together......I'll keep you posted if you guys are interested in something like that.

I'll probably go with a bumper pull dump trailer again. Would be great to have a gooseneck but like Tom said not everyone will have a hitch for it. Of course instead of that water you could always load up you 3V V10 and drag it all up.

Let me talk with Tom and see what we can get put together. If we had them in a "Tech Folder" type of sticky, it would be a great quick reference for anyone asking about comparisons on any of the forums.

Perhaps we could borrow Chad's truck for that position?

LOL! To bad he sold it after the second meltdown. But it would have made a nice paper weight to tow around.

Could always remove the totes from gn trailer and put on a bumper pull trailer.
6 of them full weight right at 12k plus trailer weight.
