NSW green slip and rego, just under $1100 + custom plates - $400
$1500 per year.
Gotta love the taxes, crap roads and all.

ACT custom plates are only a one off charge. Eureka, money saved!

Not much, if any, of the rego fee is spent on roads, they use all the other taxes for that.

bit of a grave dig I know ... but $819 per year for my 351 LWB.

Should drop to about 120 once I get her over onto club rego.

Hi Effin great, that seems abit high for club rego. My QLD club rego for one of my other cars is less than 200 per year. What club have you joined?

A mate I know through dirt bikes has classic cars and a club in the dayboro area and I may have got it wrong but its cheap.

No worries. Yeah, you can join any club to get club rego. There some rules that you should follow, but I am sure they will tell you once you join.

Unhappy Current NSW rego cost

Put the F250 ex ambo on the road a week ago, here's the breakdown of how my wallet was vacuum cleaned for the privlidge of having a set of yellow & black plates in NSW.
Rego fee - $60, MV Tax - $609, Plates $41, Geen slip $479, blue slip (RWC) $59 and whammy of Stamp duty @ $3 per hundred value, which you must produce your invoice of purchase price = Total of over $2k

We had a bit of an issue when first insured the vehicle as there wasn't a listing of 2001 2wd F250's in Australia.
When my local workshop did the blue slip, (RWC) he listed the ex ambo as a pantechnicon, which may assist someone else who's going to register a de-commisioned ambulance.
Cheers Russ

Haven't transferred the f100 into my name yet, but just today paid the rego on my jackaroo which is in the light vehicle category. The F100 is actually 100 kg lighter than the jack so the rego should be the same.

Total amount for rego fee, TAC insurance and duties is $ 586.70 metro areas are more due to higher TAC insurance component but it's usually only 40 bucks or so.
