I seen that episode the other night. They manage to shear off all the lugs on one of the rear hubs but other that that the truck lived up to some sever punishment.

As much as I like MythBusters, this is one knowledge I could live without.
On funny side, looks like with stronger wheels going above 20 mph would make the truck "floating" and ride pretty smoothly.

I don't know, I have seen some pretty stupid stuff out there. Square wheels isn't that much of a stretch from this.
