12 VDC Power Points on 2012 F250

OK, according to my Owner's Guide, the 12V power points are always hot. There is a caution about leaving games, etc. plugged in which will run the battery down, so I did a modification,
The truck came with 4 "Upfitter Controls". (switches), so what I did was made both of the dash 12V outlets and the outlet behind the center console controlled by the first three Upfitter Switches. First I threaded a wire through the firewall.
Removed the breaker for the particular power outlet and connected the newly placed wire to the power point side of the breaker socket.
The other end of this newly placed wire was spliced to the appropriate Upfitter switch lead. In this picture two of the three are spliced.
Now the 12V power point is controlled by the ignition switch and also the upfitter switch.
You can see the first Upfitter switch in the "ON" position and the light is amber. Now if the ignition switch or the upfitter switch is off, the power point is also off.
