Put a clean piece of cardboard under it and fire it up after you refil. It may be a pan plug. Is your exhaust pipe white at the tip. Usually this is the work of a very bad PCV valve. It could be an intake manifold gasket but you should have fouling plugs. Your neighbor/girlfriend mad at you?
yeah the my daughters mom is but i dont know if shed know how to even open a hood lol but i had a hole on the passenger side where the pcv where it goes in the intake but that still didnt fix my tick
Maybethe being out of oil did er in some. Not a good thing. Pistons rings, crank brgs, valve train all get a hammering with out plenty of lubrication. I wish it hadn't run so low. 7 qts. A couple of hours that low is a lifetime of an engine going tick-ticktick bong.
Check your cooling system. I had a 6.8 which ate oil like yours but no leaking or smoking. I did not know and while I was driving the engine locked up due to lack of oil. It was either a head gasket failure or an oil cooler failure. I just junked the engine.
