What year trucks used the Dana 24 transfer case? I think it was '61 - '70 on F250's, correct? What year F100's had them?

Text, Section 70, page 8 = Model (Manual Trans) Application Charts / Listed by year, 3 then 4 speeds and etc. After the auxillary transmissions are listed, the transfer case(s) are listed (the last listing for each year).

Take a look-see, only the ID numbers are listed. There's not a peep inre to a Dana 24.

Example: Text, Section 70, page 25: 1966 F100 4WD: ID number 300530 / 1966 F250 4WD: ID number 300205-6.

Parts list could be either 17A or 17B (text, section 70.17, begin on page 1). In these two parts lists, Spicer/Dana is noted, but not a peep inre to a Dana 24.

I passed this info along, cuz if I didn't respond, you may have wondered why.

Thanks. From the pictures and my own minor understanding of 4X4's, I deduce that 300205-6 is what I refer to as a "Dana 24".
