Melted EGR tubing . . .

I had my ABS light flash (still not sure why), so I went to O'reilly's for their free OBDI Code reader and it showed that I had a defective EGR circuit and upon closer inspection I found that the vacuum had melted on the exhaust manifold. I have no clue where or how it was suppose to be routed or what it connected to? My truck is a '96 F350 with the 460 & 4x4 dually. Thanks
