I was on the Butte Fire (And Middletown, but that's another story.) and while I was there I had to swing by the local Cal Fire station just outside Jackson and I spotted this very fine 79 F150. Had to belong to a Firefighter as it was parked in a good spot.

Shot this with my new camera, Canon 5D MIII.

I spotted this one some time last year but spotted it again today, he's done a lot of work to the front end as well as new wheels and tires since the last time I saw it.

There is a new TV show premiering this week on FX channel. It's called Fargo. It appears to show a dent side in the commercials. And either a 67 chevelle or 67 elcamino.

I've trying to think of what those "eyelid" headlight covers look like to me, I think I've figured it out. They look like the light cover off of a traffic light. You know the ones that sit just above the red, yellow, or green light lenses. They're put there to keep the sunlight from blocking the glow of each light. I wonder if that's what those are off of and repurposed onto the headlights of this guys truck? It looks as though he has an engine block heater as well.
