I did look into that option last summer before I rebuilt these packs. The labor is what killed me. The cheapest quote was over $400. They also kept pushing me to just replace the main leaf spring and leave the others alone. Just wasn't sure that replacement would have helped but I could have been wrong.

Does anyone have a set of good used ones? Anyone?

When we were kids my friends and I re-arched many sets of springs ourselves . It required 2 hunks of RR iron welded to a piece of plate 2- 8 or 10 pound sledges several dumb young friends , box or two of beer , Large plate of mom's sandwiches (don't know how mom and dad put up with us) . Anyway I digress . Slide spring back a and forth over gap between 2 irons and delicately tap with sledge now and then . Only takes about 10 hours to do 4 spring packs . Think of the fun you will have .

I wouldn't take chances with your springs. Especially the front springs... unless you like danger and excitement.

That's not particularly dangerous or unusual for springs with leafs removed. Since you still have the bump stops in place, you could drive it and see how often it hits the stops. A proper set of shocks in good shape would also make a great difference. I have new reversed eye lowering springs on my panel, and the springs are nearly flat and within 2" of the bump stops.
