New Coast clutch, transgo HD2 kit, dead tranny

I've been lurking for several months so thought I'd finally chime in with my last project. Found an 01 f350 cc, 7.3, auto, lariat, stock, with only 76K on it. Price was right, perfect condition, except no coast clutch in 1-2-3. Figured worse case I get a BTS and be done with it, i'd still be ahead compared to the price of a newer truck. Have an identical 02 with 240K miles, worked it hard and have never had any major issues and it still pulls like a tank. Just wanted another decent 7.3 before they are all gone, love them. Anyway, to make a long story short, dropped the tranny, opened her up, coast clutch ring was sprung, piston had a chunk out of it, easy fix. Went a head and ordered suncoast 4 disk, new piston, and a transgo kit, since I was there. Tranny only had 27k on it, PO had it rebuilt do to faulty TC, so didn't do a full rebuild. Everything went back perfectly, followed transgo directions to a T, reinstalled tranny, filled with fresh fluid. Had a tiny shudder going into R backing it out of the shop. Drove 1/4 mile down the road, seemed to shift through the gears and when I turned around at the end of the road, R barely had enough to back up to turn around. Drove back to the yard and after getting out to open the garage door, I've got nothing. Very, very slight rpm change when shifting P-N-D-2-1, but NO engagement and cant move the thing. Wenched it in the shop and havent touched it since last night. All pistons and valves where free prior to reinstall. Yes, I have Brians number just dont want to throw in the towel yet.

Did you go through the entire tranny? Sounds like there is more damage than just the coast clutch.

Everything shifted fine prior to me touching it, just no coast clutch. Didn't want to start pulling the 5th wheel around without it working. Will break it down again next week and see whats up. Was hopeing a stuck valve, flow issue but I think its toast.
