Need help with 48-50 grille trim bars

I was wondering if anyone knows of a vendor that sells individual grille trim for the 48-50. I bought the set and accidentally bent one of the trim bars and now I am having a time finding someone that sells them individually. It makes no sense that they can't sell them individually as you can by a set that has either all long bars or long bars and a short bar for the parking lamp. Any help is greatly appreciated.

There's likely someone on here that may have a few extra they'd part with

The problem is the vendors are simply distributors, not manufacturers. They buy them already prepackaged in a set, so that's the way they have to sell them. Otherwise, they'll be busting up a set to sell you one trim piece, then be stuck with the other 4 pieces siting on their shelf forever, at a loss. They're just not going to take money out of their pocket to send you what you need. If you look at it from the business standpoint, it doesn't make sense.

Find someone to repair the bent trim. It can be done.

I was hoping for better news from this thread. I need to buy a new set for mine but the Aussie trucks had the park lights on the fenders like the Mercury trucks. That means all my grille trims need to be full length so I'll be one bar short.

There are two sets available. One set has the shorter upper bar for park lamp provisions. The other set has a full length upper bar if the truck doesn't have park lamps.

Check with Sacramento Vintage Ford. I think i remember reading in their catalog that they sell individual grill bars.

Indeed they do. They also sell sets with all long bars. Now I just need to find a new set of Mercury style park lamps.

All major repro parts places carry the same grille trim packages. They buy the parts from the same manufacturers.
