6.0 Mechanic Referral for Bullet Proof

I am hoping for a mechanic referral for someplace within reasonable distance to Southeast Michigan for a 6.0 Powerstroke. I have an oil leak which I was told is a head gasket so I may as well do the stud upgrade and oil cooler stuff at the same time.

I am guilty of not maintaining the vehicle like a lot of the guys here so it is time to pay for the sins. I am not a fan of dealers so would like someplace with people who are really open to the EGR delete concept, ARP studs, and whatever else is required to make this run well.

I am concerned about driving the vehicle a long distance to get the repairs but within reason I can even go with a flatbed and trailer it there. Know this kind of request comes up frequently but I could not find anything in my search so I appreciate any feedback. If there is a thread (TDI club has one) for lists of referred mechanics by state please send me the link.

Thank you

I didn't find your location but I'm in the downriver area & I took my '04, F250, 6.0 to Hallas Performance in Romeo, MI. They did it all & was fine. Did it about 6 months ago.
