I am going to be wherever I want to be really. My "home base", if you will, will be Arvada. So Boulder, Denver, even the springs, or up into the mountains won't be a problem if anybody is interested. I won't have my truck unfortunately, but I am renting a truck, and hope for it to be a Ford. I think we are camping that first weekend I am there, but we'll see. Sometime Monday or Tuesday evening would work well.

I drove it down the street a few hundred feet today...first time it's moved under the power of the motor in ~2 years. There is still a noise that I can hear that concerns me a little after applying the brake, I hope and think it has something to do with the tranny. I am OK with that as I am going to get it rebuilt soon, hopefully that will take care of that.

Progress...

Plans have changed some, and either weekend day evening or Monday evening are open. Any interest?

Glad to hear it's alive again! I have a friend who has a neighbor who builds trannys. Did my friends Bronco couple years ago & he has been very pleased with the work. He wheels the crap out of it too.

I once took 12 hrs & worked 12 hr shift-from 9PM to 9AM for two semesters, then went part time for 3 more years.

I leave home at 7 am and dont get home until 11 pm. just enough time to sleep about 5-6 hours. 20 years ago I could have done this without missing a beat, but im an old man now, it takes time to adjust.
