Gear lube for Doug Nash dne2 overdrive

I searched all the forums here and online and cannot find what type of oil to use in a dne2 2 speed overdrive from the mid 80s I put in my 40 Ford pickup street rod.I am aware that DN sold out to US gear, which I spoke to a few years ago,USG was again sold and no one there knows anything anymore as of today when I called. The DN 2 speeds in the Corvettes take Dextron III,and the Gear Vendor ODs take a special GM or Mopar manual type gear oil.All the things I found out about the dne2 in the last few years, say the lube type is VERY important and to only run 1qt. as it will over heat if over filled.Anyone know for sure what lube it takes? There was a few posts on here a few years back that the guys said they had a manual....anyone still out there? Thanks Jack
