LED Parking Light/Turn Signal assembly for 2007 F350?

I have seen GM (and I believe Dodge) pickups with multiple LED modules installed in place of the stock front turn signal/parking lights, and was wondering if anyone has come across such modules for Super Duty trucks? I would have thought that Recon would have something like this, but they don't.

I know I have the option of getting replacement LED 3157A bulbs, but like the looks of the multi-LED modules.

Thanks!

I believe he is referring to the LED strips like the Audi cars have. Maybe you are looking for something similar to this?

How about using some dual color led bulbs in your parking/turn signals!

Here's what mine looks like:

Not sure about your area, but here you'll get pulled over for blue running lights. Might not be a good idea.

I've tried the type 2 switchbacks. I ordered them from an Ebay seller. The first set would work fine for a few minutes but then would malfunction (turn completely off or not switch properly). The seller sent me a replacement with the same result.

I have now ordered a set through V-LED but they have been on back order for the past 3 weeks. (3157 - 3156 LED - Standard - SwitchBack)

I'm hoping that the ebay bulbs were just a faulty product....and not a compatibility issue with my truck and switchback bulbs.

The ones I initially tried were 120SMD LED bulbs 80-orange/40-white. They were VERY bright. I am now going to try out the 92SMD bulbs in my link above. With the switchbacks, the only time the lights will illuminate orange is when it is blinking. The running lights will be white. There is no option available to make them stay orange.

The way they work is that the 3157 bulbs has 2 positive and 2 negative terminals. The white leds are connected with the + & - associated with the running lights and the orange leds are connected with the + & - associated with the blinker.

There are 2 types of switchbacks, type 1 & type 2, and they differ by the way that they blink.

Type 1: blinker alternates between white and orange
Type 2: when blinker is activated, the white leds shut off and only the orange leds blink. Once the blinker is turned off, the white leds come back on

If you want the parking lights to be amber, then just order the standard 92 led bulbs in amber. Not the switchbacks.

Here is a list of all the 3157 style bulbs they carry: 3157 - 3156 LED - Standard

The switchbacks look nice and would make for perfect running lights during the day. My concern is that they might be so bright at night that oncoming cars would assume you were running with your high-beams on (seeing two sets of white lights: your headlights and the running lights) and could lead to a road rage incident. Has anyone using them noticed this?

I may end up going with just the amber version of the bulbs to avoid that. The length of the bulb and number of LEDs seem to illuminate the entire parking light/turn signal reflector to give a turn signal output that would be readily visible in the daytime, which I was looking for. The original LED amber bulbs I tried did not give that.

They are not bright enough to be offensive to oncoming traffic at night, I have been using them for two years and never had anyone highbeam me because of them!!!

I also wired mine up to come on as daytime running lamps and they look great for that!
